ACCESS TAGS – $50 to ride and run jungle cross FOR A YEAR
The Centaurs Jungle Trail – Ride and Run at specified times, 7 days a week, for just $50 a year
The Jungle Trail, operated and managed by Cycosports, is part of the Centaurs Sports Park, a large section of private land owned by the SLA. The trail has been developed for Mountain Biking over the past 5 years with natural and man-made features throughout and also makes for an interesting and very challenging cross country running trail. The full course is 4.8km.
The issuance of these tags and the access to facility relies on all users to please follow the rules.
IT IS CRITICAL FOR EVERYONE’S SAFETY AND WELLBEING THAT THE ACCESS HOURS ARE RESPECTED – THERE ARE MULTIPLE USERS OF THE FACILITY, INCLUDING SMALL CHILDREN ATTENDING CAMPS AND PARTIES.

Thursday 1st April – closed for Race Prep
Friday 2nd April. Closed in Morning for Jungle Cross 2 Races
Saturday 3rd April. Closed in Morning for Half Marathon

Sunday 11th April – Closed in Morning for Kids races

|RULES||1. You must have a current access tag affixed to your bike or person (for runners) to enter |
2. You can also enter if expressly authorised by Centaurs or Cycosports management
|3. This is private land, and trespassers will be reported to the police and prosecuted|
|4. No dogs allowed sorry|
|5. Please be aware that there are often kid’s camps and parties in the central area of the trail.|
This area is known as “The Pit”. IF these events are on during normal tag holder access hours, we may run a different, slightly shorter course to avoid any chance of collisions
|6. Under Covid-19 regulations, we are restricted to 64 people in the trail – as such, you may be asked to delay your entry if numbers exceed that limit (it hasn’t happened so far)|
|7. The main entry is at the North end of the Centaurs Park, near the paint-ball facility – there is also a bike wash facility here – use sparingly please.|

Jungle Cross Course
The course was extended throughout 2020, since then minor updates and improvements have been ongoing.
Q: How long is my access good for?
A: It is a one year access for $50 ($35 for under 19s) – Renewable one year from your registration. Currently our lease is only until 30Jun2022, as we await a decision from the SLA on future development.
Q: What happens after I register?
A: We will arrange to mail out your tag
Q: Remind me of the access hours?
A: Strictly 0700-1200 for MTB riding all days except Wednesday, when you can night ride 5pm-9pm
Strictly 1700-2100 for Trail Running all days except Wednesday, when you can run 0700-1200
Q: What if I lose my tag ?
A: We can give you a new one, for a small (admin) fee of $15
Registration is through our Race Result System and costs $50 per year
